A special photography experience in the heart of takayna / The Tarkine where the raw beauty of nature will captivate you with an abundance of photo opportunities to embrace. All-inclusive and hassle-free!

For this Women-only Photography Escape in the Tarkine, we will be based at the remote settlement of Corinna Wilderness Village, on the banks of the peaceful Pieman River. A vast and extraordinary wilderness of cool temperate rainforest and pristine river habitat, home to a wide range of birds and wildlife will surround us. With several nature trails to wander and a river full of life, many photo opportunities await.

With varied activities, including a couple of river cruises, the photo shoots and tutorials vary according to seasonal conditions and other factors. The photographic genres to your avail comprise long-exposures, low-light and night, burst shooting, close-up/macro and more. A diversity of subjects and scenes comprise river reflections, intriguing rock formations, misty mornings, rugged coastlines, waterfalls, birds, wildlife and unique flora.

Imagine the photos you could take!

“This was one of the best value tours you can imagine, with someone who is very skilled with the camera and a talented teacher. I came away with a much better understanding of the technical issues involved as well as how to be more creative. The hospitality provided was also top class.”
