A Photography Day Out with Shutterbug Walkabouts is a private, nature-focused experience for anyone who loves taking photos at an unhurried pace. You’ll have time to engage in photography your way – from creating intentional, thoughtfully composed images to capturing treasured travel memories or simply enjoy being immersed in nature with a camera in hand.

 

Each tour has an intended itinerary, yet it naturally unfolds with a sense of serendipity. Weather, light, seasonal changes and the behaviour of wildlife and birdlife all play a part, as do the little details that catch your eye along the way. The shifting moods and rhythms of nature reveal a series of photo opportunities for a day that is uniquely yours.

 

We don't set off with a list of what to focus on. We’ll visit some of the well-known locations that are favourites to photograph, and also look beyond these highlights for the details, moments and scenes that truly speak to you. Throughout the day, I’ll point out interesting features or fleeting moments you might like to notice – and share how I might approach photographing them, encouraging you to explore your own perspective.
