Maria Island is a picturesque gem with an endless array of photographic opportunities from sweeping landscapes and geological wonders to historic ruins and an abundance of wildlife and birds. Tasmania's winter light is soft, diffused and atmospheric; ideal for capturing breathtaking landscapes, wildlife and seascapes at any time of day. With expert guidance, refine your photography skills by day, and after dark if the sky is clear, explore techniques for night photography. Develop your knowledge, experiment with creative techniques and indulge in the joy of photography. We'll be staying on Maria Island, and enjoy the cosy warmth and comforts of Bernacchi House, a historic cottage located within the World Heritage-listed convict settlement of Darlington. Payment, Amendments and Cancellation
Deposit and Final Payment A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking; you have the option to pay in full at this time. Balance is due 60 days before the booked date; you will receive a payment request by email in the lead-up to this time. Full payment is required for all bookings made less than 60 days before the booked date. Amendments and Cancellations We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. If you need to make adjustments to your booking, please reach out to us as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to assist. Please keep in mind that as a boutique operator of photography experiences, changes and cancellations, even with notice, can have a significant impact to us due to the limited opportunity to fill the space left therefore fees for amendments and cancellations apply as outlined in our Standard terms and conditions. We'll always strive to apply fair and reasonable discretion on a case-by-case basis for changes and cancellations.
