RAW/Classic Private Photo-oriented Tours

On a photo-oriented tour, Shutterbug Walkabouts will take you sightseeing, wildlife spotting and birdwatching. Along the way, your professional and experienced guide shares a narrative about all things Tasmanian, and helps you capture unique images, not just snapshots.

A Shutterbug Walkabouts photo-oriented tour is ideal for anyone who loves to explore the great outdoors and nature’s beauty – photographers and non-photographers alike. All tours are privately guided for an immersive photographers’ day out.

What is a Shutterbug Walkabouts RAW/Classic experience?

When talking about photography, you may have heard the term ‘RAW’ (see meaning displayed separately). Well it’s in this way that we have curated our tours. Our ‘RAW/classic’ tours provide the foundation for a quality private tour, while giving you greater control over enhancing your experience. Enhancements on offer include unique photographic opportunities, exclusive access activities, scenic flights and more.

* If you prefer an all-inclusive experience, please get in touch with us about our PREMIUM Photo-oriented tours and experiences. Our premium tier package comprises hand-picked enhancements (pre-selected for you), deluxe morning tea and picnic or restaurant lunch (depending on itinerary) and special exclusive photographic activities.

The meaning of RAW in photography
Simply put, ‘RAW’ is the name of a file type for an image or photo not yet processed. Shooting in RAW offers more scope for editing and enhancing an image to achieve a desired visual result.
